Thor Motor Coach has introduced two new brands of Super Cs, the Thor Omni and Magnitude, at the 9th annual dealer open house this week.
These new Class C RVs are built on the Ford F-550 chassis and power comes from a PowerStroke 6.7 L diesel engine that produces 750-lb.ft. of torque and 10,000 pounds of towing capacity.
The company says the new models have the features of a Class A with the diesel power and drivability found in the F-550. In a statement, Thor said it is confident that these features will appeal to many buyers in the Class C market.
Among the highlights in the new models are a large overhead bunk, a panoramic skylight with accompanying power shade, a standard king-size bed, high-gloss, solid wood cabinetry, residential stainless steel refrigerator, glass shower door, and bedroom charging station with CPAP outlet.
Both motorhomes have a long list of automotive features including a 7-inch rear view monitor, aluminum wheels and Mobileye collision avoidance system. Power is managed by the FireFly multiplex wiring system and the Onan 6,000-watt generator runs the dual roof air conditioners.
Three floor plans are offered to fit any lifestyle:
The BB35 includes a king-size bed, bunk beds with two TVs and DVD player, a flip-up kitchen counter extension for more usable kitchen space, and an exterior kitchen.
The BH35 features a king-size bed, a bath and a half, and a pull-out pantry.
The SV34 features a king-size Tilt-A-View inclining bed as well an exterior kitchen.
